| The previous site had many problems typical of a government website. Visitors to the site encountered a confusing array of user interfaces and navigation paradigms adopted by the many different agency and department websites. |

| A single, intuitive common user interface and navigation was created that mirrored users’ needs. Information was organized by key life events—such as having a baby or caring for an elderly parent. Now instead of trying to figure out which government agency or department they need, users can navigate based on their actual needs. |
